Naruto 409. I AM SO WAITING FOR #410 TO COME OUT! SASUKE WILL BE FIGHTING~! XD I really want to see more of Sasuke! Hmm... and Akatsuki seems to be attacking Konoha? for Naruto. But now Naruto ain't even in the village... Wonder what'll happen, ne?

Also, I am rather miffed that the Vampire Knight fandom is either obsessed with Kaname/Yuuki or Zero/Yuuki... such that other non-pairing related works are pretty much IGNORED (or do not even EXIST in the first place). Which would nicely explain the number of LJ comments that I'm receiving for both my Twins Verse fanfics. For some reason, I thought that I'd receive better results on LJ than on FF.Net. Amazingly enough, I got more responses for LCS on FF.Net... and BB on FF.Net is doing as well as on LJ. Perhaps even slightly better because I have 2 faves for it, meaning that at least one more person has read it on FF.Net than here.

SIGH. It's fricking hard to find things on the twins anywhere (da, FF.Net and LJ.. don't even talk about MediaMiner). I need a Zero and Ichiru fix that does not come from MYSELF. JEEZ. You'd think people can pull away from trying to form Kaname, Yuuki and Zero into a working threesome long enough to LOOK at other characters. -.-

*coughs* Okay, I think I'm being a little unfair but well. I WANT MY ZERO & ICHIRU FIX NOWZ. Also, I'm feeling none too pleasant towards Yuuki presently. Or rather, since chapter 37 where she... SO DEFINITELY HURT ZERO WITH HER WORDS. Even if she went back to her "normal" self later on, it wasn't TOWARDS Zero. In fact, I'm beginning to think she's kinda forgotten about him. Fine yes, you have Kaname. Of course you wouldn't look at Zero.

Now, I'm also suspecting that I like fanon!Kaname more than canon!Kaname (which begs the question of do I really like Kaname?). Might be because I actually read more fanfic before going on to read the manga and hence my impressions of Kaname were very much based on the fanfic version... that does not have Yuuki being a vampire. Or Kaname so blatantly using Zero without feeling. So yes, I fixate on Zero. I don't care. I dare say I'm following VK because of Zero. I want to know his actions after chapter 40. Chapter 42 should have him back already. It better. Also, what happens to Ichiru? Does anyone find him? If so, who? *is hoping that he doesn't stay in the cold prison cell alone* *wants Ichiru to be found and be... "taken care" of*

I'm wondering really... Is it really true that the whole fandom (okay, not whole, but a lot of people) hate Ichiru? Including the manga readers? WHY?

NEW USERPIC! *POINTS TO SIDE* Presenting to you Kiryuu Zero and Kiryuu Ichiru, who have both stolen my heart and ran away with it. Yes. Chapter 40 spoilers galore (yes, so I'm still not over it, but I don't care), but well, it also isn't that obvious. Looks a lil' like twincest, but the intention behind it wasn't that. Though if you wanna see it as twincest, be my guest.

Oh yes, I've turned my VK fanfic into the start of a mini series, dubbed "Twins Verse". Sorry for the lack of creativity. ^^" The second in Twins Verse has been completed! But I'll probably hold on to it for awhile, re-read it and edit some things here and there before posting it here and then on FF.Net. Just fyi, the title of that fic (a companion fic to Like Crystal Shards) is Blood Bound. I have so far, one more story planned for the series, though it's still untitled. It'll be a sequel to LCS, and most likely AU from the VK manga by then.

Haha, I let Zhi Hua read LCS. Finally. I couldn't wait any longer for her to actually go read VK and hit chapter 40 by herself... since she'd take years to do that (I suspect she's just as frustrated that I'm not watching Code Geass...). So I let her read, and then explained things on the way. And now, she's quite interested? in the VK storyline because of all the Zero angst. XD Yes, Zero angst is also why I'm in it. Okay, not just the angst per se, but well, JUST ZERO YES. And she commented that LCS was the most lemon fic without an actual lemon in it that she'd ever read. To which I reasoned that since VK is about VAMPIRES, and bloodsucking is usually done on the neck... everything gets... eroticised however unintentional it may be, no? Even if it's between friends or even family members.

Although. Being a yaoi fangirl might have some weight to why it turned out that way too... HOWEVER. Hino Matsuri-sensei also makes Ichiru say CANON dialogue that.... sounds undeniably... twincest-y. To me anyway. Oh well, but since even SK was telling me that the first part of LCS had her thinking, "HOT HOT HOT" more than anything else... XDXDXD *is a yaoi fangirl after all*

Hmm... maybe I've listened to too much BL drama cds, but I reckon Miyano Mamoru will be able to make a good uke. See, I got my hands on the Vampire Knight Drama CDs (which is much better the the anime because it followed the MANGA STORYLINE CLOSELY), and it was on the first 2 - 3 chapters of VK. So there are scenes of Zero trying his best to control his fits of bloodlust in private. And the panting sounds he makes... *coughs* Yes, some parts do remind me of ukes in BL drama CDs in certain scenes. I'm really tempted to check if Miyano-san does BL dramas... ^^" Random, but VK and seiyuu related, can we have VK character albums? I want to hear Miyano-san sing as Zero! ^.^

On to other manga updates. Bleach is back from a one-week hiatus! AND ME SPIES THE PERFECT ICHIRUKI MOMENT. I don't care if lately Bleach manga has been pouring on the IchiHime-ness. At the heart of it all, IchiRuki just wins hands down. ( short spoilers )

Also, the next Bleach movie is announced, and the title is:

Because the first... attention grabber trailer of sorts for it had the words, "Sayonara, Rukia" on it and there's Ichigo shouting Rukia's name in like... anguish and full of emotion. SO THERE. ICHIRUKI MOVIE YES AND YAY. *beams*

Naruto 408. Yes, I'm still following and my persistence has paid of! We see Sasuke's again in this chapter! YAY! I had been suffering from a mild bout of Sasuke withdrawal. *coughs* Sasuke and the rest of his team in Akatsuki cloaks too! XD Sasuke looks good in it. XD And he used his Mangekyou! Specifically, Tsukuyomi to get info of the whereabouts and looks of the one who houses the Eight-Tailed Beast. I hope that means more of Sasuke in the next few chapters~!

Got back most of my results today - GP and Math. Got back Chemistry last week, but hadn't said a thing yet. Well. Good news is I passed them all. Bad news? Well. All were D grades. I have the sinking suspicion that this will be my last post for awhile...

Also, amazingly enough, our class did the 15th best in the cohort for Chemistry. And for Math, our class had the highest average score for our lecture group. Hmm. ^^"

Right. So on to some last piece of lighter news.

I finally found where it was stated Genesis' childhood dream was. It wasn't in an animated cutscene, so I couldn't find it while watching all those cutscenes. ^^" But still, I found it and I'm happy. ^.^

I'd like to see someone write an FFVII fic fitting all of Crisis Core, the original game, Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus into it. Also, it really seems that there'll be a game after DoC, what with Genesis in the Secret Ending of it and the foretelling of his return... Some people were speculating that the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII will only end on it's 20th Anniversary in 2017. Well, that's a good 9 years away... and if that game comes out, it better have kick-ass graphics. XD And somehow, I feel that if it ever comes out, the playable character will be Genesis. Everything seems to foreshadow as much. And hopefully we'll actually learn the what's the final chapter of Loveless. Although it's nice if it's left to our own interpretation. XD

Still, what is the Gift of the Goddess ne? Genesis ain't giving any answers... and even he says you can interpret it different ways. EH WELL.

Well, because my mom wants me to watch the Wimbledon Men's final... I can't post about Cosfest VII. But I can summarise one thing that I've been thinking about throughout Cosfest today:

WHY THE LACK OF CRISIS CORE COSPLAYERS??! *pouts*

OH ZACK! I LOVE YOU! SO DAMN UTTERLY CUTE~ KOINU NO ZACK! XDXDXDXD Angeal, you're so much love too for giving Zack the nickname... and letting Genesis and Sephiroth find out about it too. Oh not to mention your mother. XD

The Crisis Core cutscenes are much much love. Zack is so adorable and loveable in like almost all of them (from the first 3 chapters at least, cause the angst hasn't fully set in)! ^^ And Tseng just rocks with the ensuing conversation:

Zack: What Turks have to do such things to? (in reference to Tseng going to dig up graves to investigate something)
Tseng: Someone has to do it.
Zack: What a pain.
Tseng: Don't worry about it. Because of it, my pay is higher than yours.
Zack: Seriously?!

GO TSENG! GO SUWABE JUNICHI FOR THAT SEXY VOICE TOO! Zack, wanna change jobs? XD Don't think he'd work well as a Turk though. Wait, hang on. If they have RENO as a Turk.... XDXDXDXD Well, I guess 2 troublemakers together would be a headache for Tseng or whoever happens to be leading the Turks during CC. ~.^

And seriously, Gackt as Genesis JUST ROCKS SO MUCH. God, Genesis sounds so damn sexy! I for some reason, still love this line when he says it, "ShinRa no inu domo, nani ga wakaru!?" It sorta escalates into a shout by the end of it, and DANG GACKT SOUNDED DAMN SEXY VOICING THAT PART! XD Hell, even Inoue Kazuhiko's Angeal is more likeable than the English version. I guess it's because his English VA sounds less old and mature, which since I've watched the trailers in Japanese, Angeal has always been very mature to me. ^^" And since I already know I dislike Genesis' English VA since hearing the dub of the Dirge of Cerberus secret ending... WELL. So far though, I haven't heard him again in CC. ^^" But I doubt my impression will change anyway.

SEPHIROTH IS SO DAMN COOL AND AWESOME AND SEXY AND DON'T YOU THINK SO TOO ZACK!? XDXDXDXD Kya! Love Sane!Sephiroth a lot! Even when insane... well... XD His sexiness never leaves him. And goodness, HIS SHAMPOO. XDXDXDXDXD Too bad they never tell us exactly what the 13 different fragrances are, except for Rose and Vanilla. XD

OH HOLY SHIT VANILLA. It's because of Genesis, which leads me to think of Gackt, and then VANILLA. THAT SONG. XD And seriously? I WANT MY FFVII SOLDIER ROCK BAND. Lead singer can be Genesis. XD Though Zack, Cloud and Sephiroth can all sing relatively well. Maybe an FFVII SOLDIER boy band? They're all pretty enough... ~.^ OOOH! ZACK AND CLOUD DUET~! I know their seiyuus harmonize together really well! BUT ME WANTS THE ROCK BAND NAO. More accurately, FANART OF IT NOW PLZKTHANX. Really, I've been asking for such fanart since... since I learnt that Genesis was voiced by Gackt.

Alternatively. TURK ROCK BAND NOW. Because Tseng can be the lead singer. Suwabe-san! XD Hell, you could have an AVALANCHE rock band. XD Cloud gets the lead singer role to himself this time. And well, Vincent's seiyuu can sing... although I've never really heard rock as in real rock (and not Burimyu) from him. XD

Okay. Enough about rock bands. ^^" There're also sad things going on in the cutscenes. Sigh... Poor Zack. But he still maintains his cheerfulness through it all, and that's the reason why he's so, so different from the other SOLDIERS. That's not to say he doesn't go into bouts of depression and general emo-ness, but he snaps out of them soon enough. *hugs him*

Right. Enough about Crisis Core. Going for Cosfest VII tomorrow! Cosfest VII XD. Has been thinking of Final Fantasy VII ever since noticing the number. XD I hope that there will be cosplays of Crisis Core around.. Good ones too. ^.^ I am insanely picky. Sorry. ^^" Will be going with Zhi Hua, and haha, I seem to have pulled Viet into the fray too. XD But he was the one who asked me where to get like anime costumes, and since I really am not sure, I suggested Cosfest cause there may be booths, ne?

No Bleach this week. But Naruto (yes I'm still following it) seems to be getting interesting. Jiraiya's message has been decoded but no idea what it really seems to mean. Akatsuki is on the move again. This time, Pain's heading for Konoha to get Kyuubi. Then in DGM, the crack has left. ^^" Allen's hair is back to normal, and Lavi is no longer chibi. Which means Kanda isn't too. SIGH. They were so adorable and chibi together! ^^" Looks like Allen's in a pinch because of the Order heads again (oh they're at the new HQ now... and it looks like, to me, the London Parliament House in design ^^"). Damn that inspector guy. DIE DAMN IT DIE. AKUMA KILL HIM. KILL HIM. YOU HAVE FULL PERMISSION TO DO SO. GAH. I hope nothing bad's going to happen to Allen with his Innocence arm restrained like that.. and I hope, strangely enough, Cross is not in a... not-too-good situation too.

The animators for Vampire Knight has TOTALLY RUINED IT. The end of the first season is. So. Wrong. NO. KANAME DOES NOT LET ZERO DRINK HIS BLOOD SO SOON. AND NOT IN THAT SITUATION TOO WITH ZERO CHAINED UP AND ALL THAT, GODDAMNIT! WHY DID YOU CHANGE THAT PART?! THERE SHOULD'VE BEEN FIGHTING! A GUN TO KANAME's THROAT. BOTH OF THEM ADMITTING THAT THEY WANT YUUKI TO SMILE FOR HERSELF. AND THEN FINALLY ZERO BITES KANAME. AND OF COURSE THIS TAKE PLACES AFTER THE HOLIDAYS NOT BEFORE AND DEFINITELY NOT RIGHT AFTER SHIZUKA DIES. af;lakjdfaklsdfj!alsdfjlasdfk; THE FLOW TO CHAPTER 30 WAS SO VERY AWESOME. THE DIALOGUE BETWEEN ZERO AND KANAME WAS AWESOME AND EMOTIONAL AND JUST SO BEAUTIFUL. SO WHY CAN'T YOU STICK TO IT!? GAH.

Okay, so I totally didn't mind the flashbacks to Ichiru and Shizuka's past, which I can and will take it as canon. The added dialogue between Ichiru and Shizuka just added on to the manga scene.. and even Zero's input about understanding why Shizuka wouldn't change Ichiru into a vampire because he himself wouldn't let someone turn into a vampire was relatively still acceptable, although I still rather the manga's way of ending and that Ichiru takes off saying that Zero killed Shizuka. But almost everything else in the last episode is a big, fat NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Damn it. They ruined the sexiest Kaname and Zero scene in VK. OH SERIOUSLY. THAT'S THE SEXIEST SCENE IN ALL OF VK, HECK IF I'M BIASED. I cannot forgive them animators. This makes me dread how season two will turn out, especially how Chapter 40 will be done. WHY ANIMATORS!? WHY?!!!!!? *death glares*

My gosh, I want to cry at the butchering of the last episode... the seiyuus were so brilliant, yet yet yet they had to change the story. What were the animators thinking?! GAH.

On another note. I've been selected for the Taiwan Immersion. Because someone withdrew. So. Well. Hey. Okay. Now I shall learn how to time manage because seriously... I do need help if I'm going to do well for my promos...

O.O WHY ARE THE RJ TEACHERS SO EFFICIENT WHEN IT COMES TO MARKING EXAM SCRIPTS?! WHY? And can't they be more sympathetic to us too? I'm gonna be getting back Chem. paper on Friday. DOOM. I failed the MCQ section, which I saw today. Gah.

Met the new Chemistry teacher today too. She's an RGS and RJC alumni. Well, so far she's okay, but it's only the first lesson. Stricter than Gwee-sensei though... I kind of miss him already. ^^" Eh well, never mind.

Asked Stasha if she knew about Cosfest VII over MSN just now and I was surprised she didn't. ^^ Well, so I told her about it and the details. Hopefully she can go too! ^.^ She asked if I wanted to cosplay (since I expressed that I'd like to try it one day) Vampire Knight, to which I wondered how in the world can I magic out a costume so fast. ^^" So that's also how I learned she reads VK. I sorta guessed her favourite character correctly. I was thinking that it was most likely Kaname, and I was right. Haha! XD

Kinda also talked to her about other things, or rather school-related stuff. I'm impressed that she wants to go to poly over JC, although she definitely can enter a JC from her mid-year results... Says she doesn't think she can cope with JC life. Eh well, since she has plans for herself and her parents allow them, I guess that's good for her. =) She seems quite impressed that I can handle 2 CCAs. But well, my CCAs are clubs, and relatively less stressful than others. ^^" Eh well.

Oh and since the coming Monday is Youth Day holiday, I hope Zhi Hua can come over and I can finally show her Burimyu. ^^" And a few other things too. Hopefully, she'll magic out her PSP when she comes over and I can squee over Crisis Core. XD Speaking of Crisis Core, the Toy & Comic Convention's second day cosplay competition was on anime. Heard that a person doing Genesis came in third. I found a picture of the person (I guess it should be the one since there're less cosplayers according to the blogger) and... WELL. I do have high expectations for cosplayers. SO. WELL. I think you can guess my views of that cosplayer already.

Meh. I guess that's just it for now. No CCA tomorrow~ so I have a free day! XD Going to try and lunch with Yi Hui too, and hopefully get some free food! I'm kinda broke cause of paying for class fund and buying Naruto Vol. 42 [because of the Sasuke VS Itachi fight, meaning I'm gonna get Vol. 43 when it comes out] and FF7 AC poker cards (a new design) yesterday. ^^" Well, I guess I'll need to dig into savings come Cosfest... though whether I'll really buy stuff is still to be seen.
